The Golightly Jazz Band played a wedding in Jordan and Vineland last weekend. The ceremony was at Cellar Springs in Vineland in an open vineyard and the dinner was held at the Inn on the Twenty Restaurant in Jordan. The ceremony was beautiful and thankfully the rain held off for us! Here are a few pictures of the day:
The Golightly Jazz Band played at a wedding at East Dell Estate Winery in Beamsville, Ontario. The reception was held in the View Restaurant and Wine Boutique. We had such a great time and we want to thank everyone for their encores and getting the dance floor started! Here are a few pictures from the reception.
The Golightly Jazz Band were lucky enough to perform at Lauren and Brad Manser’s special day! We played outside in front of an old school house in Wainfleet, Ontario, where the ceremony was being held. Initially, we planned on playing inside but the school house was too small so we improvised and set up outside! Luckily, we had perfect weather for the occasion and a few willing volunteers to tell us when to start and stop playing. After the ceremony, we continued to play while people socialized and danced. It worked seamlessly and so did the rest of the day!
Thank you Lauren and Brad! The Golightly Jazz Band wishes you all the best!
Not The Golightly Jazz band but Lovers Love Haters is another project I’m involved with. If you’re interested, please read on and if you want to purchase cd’s feel free to contact me!
A few weeks ago we played at Mjolk (www.mjolk.ca) for the Junction’s CONTACT photography festival. There was great wine, delicious oysters, stunning photograph’s by Per Kristiansen’s , and of course a lot of great company! We had such a blast playing at this event and hope we can team up with Mjolk again!

The Golightly Jazz Band got together last night for a very successful jam session! We went over the vocal repertoire and even had time at the end to jam on a few of our favorite tunes. The night went over seamlessly and I am so lucky to have such talented musicians in my group!
Here are a few pictures from last night who of course includes Bob Marley. He was our guest performer on a few tracks….
Welcome to the Golighty Jazz Band website! It’s a work in progress but for now you can find information about who we are, what we play, bios of the band members and contact info. To start off my blog, I thought it was appropriate to post an early performance of the Bill Evans Trio playing ‘Someday My Prince Will Come.’ Enjoy!
